Tomatoes in Focus

A large field

A commercial tomato plot was divided into two sections: one treated with Caraplant and one left as control. Caraplant was applied at transplanting and again during early flowering.

Growth and Plant Health

Treated plants established faster, with thicker stems and greener foliage. During a period of heat stress in midsummer, the Caraplant section maintained leaf turgor and avoided the wilting seen in control rows. Root sampling confirmed denser, more fibrous structures, supporting stable nutrient uptake.

Yield and Fruit Quality

At harvest, the treated plants delivered higher yields with more uniform fruit size. Fruits also showed firmer texture and reduced cracking compared to the control section.

“The Caraplant-treated tomatoes grew stronger and produced more consistent fruit. The difference in resilience during hot weeks was clear.”
