New planting of grapevines

Seedlings being planted in soil

Setting the Trial

In spring, we selected a commercial vineyard block to evaluate Caraplant under field conditions. Two sections of vines were compared: one treated with Caraplant and one left as control. Application was carried out at planting and again during early vegetative growth.

Growth Observations

Throughout the season, treated vines showed faster shoot development and more uniform leaf growth. Root samples revealed denser, more fibrous systems, which supported water uptake during a dry June.

Harvest Results

By harvest, bunches from treated rows averaged slightly higher weight and displayed fewer signs of stress. While this study covered only one season, results suggest Caraplant can support stronger vine resilience and consistent yields.

“We saw better growth consistency and healthier foliage in the Caraplant rows. It will be interesting to see how this translates into wine quality over multiple seasons.”
